Record numbers of athletes took part over the weekend – it was fantastic to see so many competitors out on the courses! And what a series of races it was! The sun shone and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Athletes came from all over the world to compete in one of the best triathlons and multisport openers of the summer!

On Sunday, over 3,000 competitors descended on the Château. Bright and early our Gauntlet competitors took to the water to start their half iron race. The sun came out later in the morning as the standard distance triathletes began their races. For our half iron distance, the Gauntlet, the open winner was Alexis Tourbier and the female winner was Ella Vanpoucke! We had an amazing record number of racers for the half marathon with over 1,000 competitors taking to the course.  Mallaury Vigier and Lucie LeQuitte-Charransol took home the trophies!  Congratulations.

Well done to all winners on the podium and congratulations on all athletes who took part. We loved seeing you all compete.

Your support for all the athletes was incredible! Your energy was fantastic and I’m sure the athletes appreciated it!
